BAJRUSH MJAKU – CV

 

 

 

Born in 1952 in Kaçanik Kosova.He studied acting at the High Pedagogical School in Prishtina in the class of Faruk Begolli    and Bekim Fehmiu. Since 1973 he is employed as an actor in the Albanian Drama of the Theatre of  Nationalities in Skopje. He has played more than hundred roles from different authors among which are:

1985 – awarded with one of the five equal awards of the festival Vojdan Cernodrinski for the main role of Pikoni in the performance “The Rain in Uertemonto” by Resul Shabani

1993 – awarded as the Actor of the Year by Radio Skopje, Channel 2000, for the role of Karlo The Habsburg in the performance “Sun is Setting Down” by Helderode

1995 – highest award for main role of Baal in the performance “Baal” by B. Brecht, directed by B. Brezovec at the theatre festival Vojdan Cernodrinski in Prilep;

1996 – highest award of the city of Skopje – 13th November, for the role of the King Lear in “King Lear” by Shakespeare

1998 – received the award 11th October – the highest national award for long-term artistic achievements

1998 – received the highest national award in the field of culture-Kliment Ohridski
